If you are an internationally based company or if you register after the deadline of July 12th your badge(s) will be available for pick up at the show at the NEED A BADGE – PRE REGISTERED counter onsite.

Please print out any confirmation(s) you received and bring a copy of your company business card plus TWO of the following credentials to the Javits Center starting July 26th, and proceed to New Buyer/Need A Badge Registration. Jewelry Retailers:1. Three invoice(s) showing purchase of FINISHED Jewelry within the last twelve months. 2. Business Card that includes your company name and address. 3. Business License indicating you are a retail business (NOT a seller's permit or Tax ID). 4. A Copy of the first two pages of your store lease or photograph of inside and outside of store. 5. Letter of Intent from an attorney or bank on official letterhead stating the intent to start a new retail business (this is acceptable for new businesses only. Non-Traditional Jewelry Buyer Requirements (Specialty Retail /Luxury Gift/ Designer Boutiques): - Copies of invoices from three different suppliers of jewelry/gift items purchased within the past 12 months. Each invoice must be for multiple purchases of jewelry/gift items which show a combined total of $2,500 or more - Federal tax ID/Copy of your business license/Sales tax certificate - Business Card that includes company name and address Independent Jewelry Designers/Goldsmiths: - Copies of invoices from three different suppliers indicating that they purchased jewelry manufacturing supplies or finished goods for resale from the last 12 months. - Federal tax ID/Copy of your business license/Sales tax certificate - Business Card that includes company name and address IMPORTANT: JA New York is a trade only event. No private or non-trade buyer is permitted on the show floor. All buyers are required to show business identification (example: personalized business card, check stub, W2, tax related documents) and government issued ID to be allowed in the show. Retail stores found to register private or non-trade buyers will be subject to penalties. GENERAL REGISTRATION GUIDELINE: Retailers of finished jewelry whose primary business is the purchase and resale of finished jewelry operating from a commercial retail location and are listed in the JBT as a retail jeweler will be admitted to the Show:
- General non-trade public/guest - Non-exhibiting manufacturers, suppliers, loose stone dealers - Individuals operating businesses from home IMPORTANT INFORMATION You must present your business identification and government issued identifications on-site in order to be scanned and receive a badge holder. All badges must be validated prior to entry into the exhibit areas. Advance registration online is highly recommended. Please note that your badge is the property of JA New York and is non-transferable and will be confiscated upon any attempt to transfer to another individual. It will be confiscated upon any attempt to transfer or sell it and all parties will be banned from future shows. - Individual personalized business and personal photo identifications must be carried at all times. - No one will be permitted to vouch for another individual’s credentials. - Any photographs taken of you during the JA New York Show may be used for promotional purposes. - No children under 16 are allowed on the show floor including infants. Only exception is if infant is carried in a baby carrier, NO STROLLERS are allowed at all times. JA New York is a trade only event. No private or non-trade buyer is permitted on the show floor. |
