  • 10am - 12:30 pm- America's Best Jeweler
JA New York’s show favorite, America’s Best Jewelers, is returning this year. A free morning symposium will be offered by America's Best Jewelers on Sunday, July 26 from 10 am - 12:30 pm. Open to all registered retailers, the symposium covers topics driven by the peer-to-peer online ABJ Network. Sessions include Speeding Inventory Turn, and Managing your Web Presence. The educational program will be followed by the 2009 America’s Best Jewelers awards, recognizing retailers whose business practices exceed current industry standards in various operational categories (awards luncheon is by invitation only).

Another fantastic addition this summer is JA New York’s SPEED NETWORKING FOR JEWELERS. Presented in the “speed dating” format, the session will enable retailers to share their knowledge on how to execute successful in-store events, from a single vendor trunk show to cross-promotional bridal gala and special events. This fast-moving event will allow participants to network and brainstorm with peers and other experts on topics such as:Your craziest idea – past or new, What made your last event successful, Great events for male customers, Measuring success beyond dollars from an event, How you can avoid a bridal event nightmare and Tips for avoiding costly mistakes.
