We are pleased to announce the following press events at the JA New York Summer Show:

Monday, July 28th, 11am -1pm
New Designer Gallery Press and Media Event

In celebration of the talent on display in the New Designer Gallery, JA New York will host a special event for members of the media at the JA New York Summer Show. Fine jewelry expert and author of Brilliance: The Art of the American Jewelry, Cindy Edelstein will introduce attendees to the newest rising stars of the jewelry industry with expert commentary on trends and positioning of the jewelry elite on Monday, July 28th, 11am-1pm. Members of the media are encouraged to vote and place their ballots for the New Designer of the Year.

Special Book Signing, Brilliance: The Art of the American Jewelry

Summer Show attendees have the opportunity to join jewelry expert Cindy Edelstein for her book signing at 2pm on Monday, July 28th.

Indonesian Welcome Reception

New to the International Pavilion this year, Indonesian exhibitors will welcome show attendees with a festive and informative Welcome Reception, in which Indonesian Ambassador H.E. Sudjadnan Parnohadiningrat will speak to the crowd on Monday, July 28th at 1:15pm adjacent to the International Pavilion.

Mort Abelson New Designer Award

One designer from the New Designer Gallery will be awarded the prestigious Mort Abelson New Designer of the Year Award. The award is named after Mort Abelson, founder of the New Designer Gallery and the man to credit for bringing “designer jewelry” to the forefront of the industry. This year’s winner will join the ranks of past winners, such prestigious designers include, Joseph Murray, Diana Heimann and Jutta Munsteiner. Please join us at 3pm on Monday, July 28th for the Award Ceremony to celebrate this year’s winner.

National Jeweler Network and JA New York are hosting a night of fun, music and dancing.
